Claire’s at the Museum
Claire’s at the Museum is a work of art located on the grounds of the Long Beach Museum of Art. The oceanfront dining and alfresco dining is served with a side of Claire Falkenstein’s stunning water sculpture, Structure and Flow. The patio also features an unobstructed view of the Queen Mary and Catalina Island with a menu that is equally appetizing for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Open Thursday thru Sunday.

District 4 Pizza
Located in the former space once belonging to Ecco’s, District 4 Pizza has elevated the pie in this part of town and the decor. Gone is the old arc replaced by a contemporary and open space with plenty of flat screens for premium viewing. Clearly, the pizza is the star of the show here but don’t overlook the salads, sandwiches, starters and main dishes. Beer on tap, wine by the glass or bottle.
RISÜ
This downtown wine bar, located near the convention center, is also a bit spirited with an impressive list of beer and cocktails. Small and shareable plates, such as charcuterie, shrimp tacos and flatbreads pair well with the liqiud offerings. Patio dining available with brunch launching soon.
Noble Bird Rotisserie
This woman-owned eatery (and mom approved) takes a fresh and elevated spin on everyone’s favorite go-to meal: the rotisserie chicken. Owner Sidney has created a menu cooked in a fully transparent environment that is hearty and healthy. From chicken bowls to butternut squash, there’s plenty of options for vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free guests too.
BO-beau Kitchen + Roof Tap
Get your grub on at this casual downtown eatery offering California-French comfort food coupled with an urban-style “roof tap” beer garden that’s fun, friendly and delicious. Craft cocktails and small plates round out the menu.

Liv’s
Liv’s is located on 2nd Street in the heart of Belmont Shore and offers fresh local and sustainable seafood procuring much of its line-caught catch from skilled fisthermen. Fish so fresh, you’ll want to slap ’em.
Saint & Second
As the name implies, this favorite dining destination and the rooftop bar is located in Belmont Shore at the corner of St. Joseph and Second Street. Part of the Hofman family of restaurants, Saint & Second features a chef-inspired menu with an inviting ambiance coupled with creative, locally-sourced seasonal fare, handcrafted organic cocktails, a curated list of whiskies and walls graced with works from California artists.

El Barrio Cantina
Located in what once was Ashley’s Bar & Grill along Retro Row, El Barrio Cantina raises the bar (literally) with its refreshing menu of cocktails and modern botanas (translation: appetizers). Open for brunch Friday-Sunday and dinner every day excluding Monday, El Barrio Cantina offers an array of delicious fare, from empanadas and grilled octopus to crispy pork belly and Mexican fried chicken. In addition to its libations (try the Smoky Paloma!), El Barrio Cantina also offers a nice selection of draft beer and wine.
